Northwestel Holiday Toy Drive

Northwestel is supporting community groups in the North with a holiday toy drive. 

Toy Drive Teddy Bear with PresentVisit our toy boxes between November 15th and December 12th to drop off a new and unwrapped toy. Toy boxes are set up at retail locations in Whitehorse and Yellowknife, and the Yukon Hospital Foundation.

After December 12th, the following organizations will begin giving out the toys to children as part of their holiday programs.

Share the Spirit Yukon has grown in the last three years to become the biggest geographic Christmas support program in Canada covering communities across the Yukon Territory. They work closely with Santa Clause and partners to cover over 2000kms and get deliveries to the children & families who need it the most.

Salvation Army, Christmas Hamper Program

Giving Hope Today Salvation Army Logo

Gifts will be added to the Salvation Army’s traditional Christmas hamper for families with children aged 14 and under. The Salvation Army has provided support to families at Christmas for over 15 years. Last year, food hampers were provided to 273 Yellowknife households, with 298 children receiving new toys thanks to generous donations from the community.
