  • Mental Health Sponsorship Criteria

Mental Health is a priority for Northwestel

Northwestel supports mental health related organizations, initiatives, and events because it strongly supports the mental health community. Mental illness impacts as many as one in five Canadians. Considering this, Northwestel believes it is time to give the valid cause more attention and support.

    Eligibility Guidelines
Northwestel supports mental health related organizations, initiatives, and events that are raising awareness about mental health, or offering opportunities for people impacted by mental illness (either their own or that of a loved one).

Our goal in offering this support is to help reduce the stigma that surrounds mental illness.

    Requests for funding must

    • Be accompanied by a detail budget
    • Demonstrate the proposed initiative’s ability to improve access to care in the community and provide tangible metrics demonstrating the increase in number of individuals supported by the initiative (attendance, participant completion, ect)
    • Demonstrate a strong likelihood of successfully launching the proposed initiative with adequate budget (must indicate other funders)
    • Be able to provide a measurement plan for the initiative supporting clear objectives and expected outcomes
    • Not exceed $30,000 in combined cash and Value-in-Kind

    Evaluation Criteria
