  • 1. Pay Online by Credit Card (Visa and Mastercard)

    Log in or register for a Northwestel online account to have easy access to make a Visa or Mastercard payment, sign up for auto payment, view your statements and much more! Pay my bill online.

    Note: Credit card payments made through your online account are posted immediately.

  • 2. Pre-Authorized Payment Plan

    For busy people on the go – no need to worry about bill payment deadlines or finding a stamp – your payment is made automatically each month, on time.

    There are two ways to set up your account for auto payments:

    Payment for your bill is automatically withdrawn from the bank account of your choice.
    The amount of your bill is automatically charged to your Visa or Mastercard.
    With either option, your monthly payment will be made on/around your due date.  You will still receive a detailed statement and can cancel at any time by calling 1-888-423-2333.

    How do I sign up for Auto-payments?

    Method 1

    • Credit Card
      Log in or register to your Northwestel online account, under Payments select Auto-Payment. When selecting the payment type, choose "Credit Card". 
    • Bank Withdrawal
      Log in or register to your Northwestel online account, under Payments, select Auto-Payment. When selecting the payment type, choose "Direct Debit".

    Method 2

    • Credit Card
      Call 1-888-423-2333 and select the option for Payments. A customer care representative will set up the pre-authorized payment for you.
    • Bank Withdrawal
      Download, print and fill out the application form here: Bank Account Application Form (PDF)
      Return application form along with a void cheque by one of these methods:
      1. Email image of filled out form and cheque to customerservice@nwtel.ca
      2. Fax to:  1-867-668-8110
      3. Return by Mail to:

        Note: We need both the form authorizing the change and a void cheque to process your request.

    For both auto payment options, payments are taken on the due date, unless the due date is on a weekend, in which case the payment will be taken the preceeding Friday.

  • 3. Pay Through Your Financial Institution

    Pay using telebanking, at an ATM or through online banking at the following Financial Institution:

    • Bank of Montreal/Firstbank
    • Toronto Dominion Bank
    • Scotiabank/Telescotia
    • CIBC
    • Royal Bank
    • BC Credit Union

    Note: Electronic payments through a financial institution are posted to your Northwestel account within 48 hours. If your payment is due immediately, please call 1 888 423-2333 and provide your payment confirmation number to avoid interruption of services.

  • 4. Pay over the Phone by Credit Card

    Call 1-888-423-2333 to make a Visa or MasterCard payment by phone.

    Note: Credit card payments made through our Customer Care Centre are posted to your account immediately.

  • 5. Payment Agent

    Make a payment at your nearest Northwestel Payment Agent.

    Note: Payments made at a payment agent are posted to your Northwestel account within 5-7 business days. If your payment is due immediately, please call 1 888 423-2333 and provide your payment confirmation number to avoid interruption of services.

  • 6. Pay by Mail

    Mail your cheque to:

    Note: Payments sent by mail are posted to your Northwestel account in 7-10 days (depending on how long the mail takes to arrive). If your payment is due immediately, please call 1 888 423-2333 and provide your payment confirmation number to avoid interruption of services.
