How to install the Northwestel TV Plus app on Amazon Fire TV
To watch your programming on Amazon Fire TV, install the Northwestel TV Plus app on your Fire TV device, and then log in using your Northwestel account username and password.
- A supported Fire TV device. For a list of supported devices, see Getting started with the Northwestel TV Plus app.
- An internet connection. You must be at home and connected to your Northwestel Internet service that’s on the same bill as your TV service.
- Your Northwestel account username and password. If you don’t have a Northwestel account yet, register for one.
You can install the app from the Amazon website or from the Appstore directly on your device.
- On the Home screen of your Fire TV device, go to search, which is the magnifying glass icon.
- Search for Northwestel TV Plus, and then select the app in the search results.
- Select Get to install it.

Install the app from the Amazon website
- On your computer, open a web browser, go to https://www.amazon.ca, and then sign in using your Amazon account username and password.
- Search for Northwestel TV Plus, and then select the app in the search results.
- Under Deliver to, select the name of your Fire TV device, and then select Get now with 1-Click.

Install from the Appstore on your Fire TV device
- On your Fire TV device, go to the Appstore.
- Search for Northwestel TV Plus, and then select the app in the search results.
- Select Get to install it.
- Open the Northwestel TV Plus app.
- Log in using your Northwestel account username and password.
After you log in for the first time, the app remembers your username and password. You don’t need to log in each time you open the app.
