Bring a toy, share the joy: Northwestel and Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society kick off their annual toy drive.
November 12, 2024, Whitehorse, YT – Yukon Government, Deputy Premier Minister Jeanie McLean, City of Whitehorse Deputy Mayor Dan Boyd, Kwanlin Dün Chief Sean Uyenets’echᶖa Smith, Ta’an Kwäch'än Council Chief Ruth Massie, the Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society, and Northwestel kicked off their annual toy drive this morning at the City of Whitehorse’s Fire Station Two.
Help share the spirit with a child this holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys to our Whitehorse or Yellowknife retail stores by December 9th to support local charitable organizations.
All toys donated at the Whitehorse Retail Centre will be collected by the Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society for the Share the Spirit program – benefiting hundreds of Yukon families during the holidays.
Northwestel and partners hope to overflow the box so as many kids as possible in the community can benefit. Northwestel also announced at this morning's kick off that it is donating $5,000 to the Whitehorse Firefighters Charitable Society Share the Spirit Campaign.
