Northwestel delivers internet and TV price decreases and introduces new 700 Mbps service
September 11th, 2024, Whitehorse, YT – The fastest home internet in the North just got faster with the introduction of Northwestel’s new 700 Mbps download speed plan, Unlimited Internet 700. Northwestel has also lowered the price of some of its top tier monthly internet plans and the TV Plus app. Internet 300 and Internet 500 decreased by $10/month, and the Northwestel TV Plus app Basic package decreased by $5/month. Customers don’t have to take any action to receive these price decreases, they will automatically see the impact on their bills.
Northwestel also recently introduced its most affordable unlimited internet plan available, Unlimited Internet 50, for $129.95/month. This package offers a more economical option for internet users who aren’t gamers or heavy users, but simply need a consistent and reliable experience with unlimited usage. Customers can sign up for any of Northwestel’s new internet plans at www.nwtel.ca/internet-plans.
Lastly, Northwestel is proud to announce that, in partnership with Bell, they have extended their Bell Mobility and Northwestel Internet $20 bundle credit indefinitely. Once only for 24 months, now customers who subscribe to any Northwestel home internet plan and an eligible Bell Mobility wireless plan can receive an ongoing $20/month credit on their Bell Mobility bill. Unlimited Internet 700 is now available to residents in Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Inuvik, Hay River, Behchokǫ̀, Carcross, Dawson City, Watson Lake, Carcross, Fort Simpson, Haines Junction, Fort Providence, Whatì, Fort Good Hope, Fort Liard, Faro, Fort Resolution, Ross River, Pelly Crossing Tagish, Teslin, Dettah, Mayo, Wrigley, Beaver Creek, Enterprise, Burwash Landing, Destruction Bay, Kakisa, Champagne, Stewart Crossing, Marsh Lake, Judas Creek, and Upper Liard where HFC and/or fibre facilities exist.
