Northwestel launches fibre internet in Wrigley
Wrigley NT September 6, 2022 – Today, Northwestel launched fibre internet in Wrigley, Northwest Territories. Customers in Wrigley can now access high-speed, unlimited fibre Internet.
Community members can surf, stream and game with speeds of up to 300 mbps in Wrigley (up from 15 Mbps previously), all without worrying about their monthly data usage. Businesses can take advantage of more cloud services, faster document transfers, and more simultaneous video calls.
Customers in Wrigley can now also sign up for Northwestel TV Plus and watch live TV on the big screen or on-the-go with the Android or iOS app, for as little as $25 a month.
These fibre upgrades are part of Northwestel’s Every Community Project, a 3-year project to bring high-speed unlimited internet to 10,000 homes across the Northwest Territories and Yukon. The improvements are funded by the CRTC Broadband Fund as well as Northwestel’s own significant investments.
Customers can order the new fibre Internet and TV services online at www.nwtel.ca.
