How to change your Wi-Fi network name and password in the HomePass app
Learn how to change your Wi-Fi network name and password using the Plume HomePass app.
-
Sign in to the HomePass app, if you haven’t already.
-
In the navigation bar, tap the Menu & Settings icon, and then tap Adapt.
-
Next to your Wi-Fi network name (also called an SSID), tap the pencil icon, and then enter a new name.
When you first set up your Wi-Fi network on HomePass, the password that you set is created in the Home zone. Follow these steps to change the password that you initially created during setup or any other passwords that you created for the Home zone after setup.
Choose a strong password that people can’t easily guess. A password must be 8-64 characters and can include upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Use a mix of random numbers and letters for better security.
