Channel changes arriving this winter!
As Northerners cozy up indoors this winter, their TVs tend to see a bit more activity. While most channels will remain unchanged, starting January 1st, 2025, there will be some important changes coming to Northwestel TV channel lineups. You may notice changes to channel names and programming.
These changes have been made by various distributors and apply to all Canadian TV providers. Read on for more information on each!

Home Network
Channel 265 (formerly HGTV)

Flavour Network
Channel 266 (formerly Food Network)
As a proudly Canadian brand, we’re cooking up a storm with our powerhouse content, expanding both locally and globally. With over 25 new series with over 160 hours of fresh premieres this winter-spring, we’re excited to serve up entertainment to our loyal audience and welcome new viewers with familiar and fresh faces from home and around the world!
USA Network
Channel 272 (formerly Discovery Channel)
With a captivating programming lineup that brings back gripping dramas, thrilling reality competition series, Canadian originals, blockbuster movies, and much more, USA Network has something for everyone. Hit shows such as Highway Thru Hell and Rocky Mountain Wreckers are here to stay along with award-winning dramas and buzzy unscripted series like Suits, The Traitors franchise and the upcoming series The Pitt coming soon!
Oxygen True Crime
Channel 334 (formerly Investigation Discovery)
The ultimate destination for true crime enthusiasts and thrill seekers, with a compelling lineup of gasp-worthy programming, Oxygen True Crime is a haven for true crime fans. The channel will continue to feature Canadian original hits such as Forensic Factor, and Fear Thy Neighbour, along with high-quality unscripted franchises such as Snapped, Dateline: Secrets Uncovered, and the Real Murders franchise.
CTV Wild
Channel 320 (formerly Animal Planet)

CTV Nature
Channel 333 (formerly Discovery Science)
CTV Nature Channel unveils the captivating mysteries of science, nature, and history. With Canadian originals like Disasters at Sea and The Death Coast, to I Survived Bear Grylls and Battlebots, CTV Nature’s content will largely remain the same and continue to celebrate the hidden beauty and awe-inspiring power of the planet.

Channel 327 (formerly Discovery Velocity)
CTV Speed Channel is the ultimate pit stop for automotive and thrill-seeking enthusiasts, with majority of titles here to stay such as popular Canadian originals Bush Wreck Rescue and Heavy Rescue 401, fan favourites Last Stop Garage and Monster Garage, as well as live NASCAR racing.
