Northwestel virus notifications
We regularly receive reports from the Canadian Cyber Incident Response Centre (CCIRC). The CCIRC reports information about customers on our network who may be unknowingly infected with malicious malware.
We are obligated to keep our network safe for all users. Communicating potential network threats to affected customers is one way that we meet this obligation.
Our security team sends out internet virus email notifications to protect you. If you receive a notification, follow the steps outlined in the email to secure your internet devices.
We may disable your internet connection if your devices continue to be identified as a potential threat to our network. To learn more, see our Terms of service.
