Video call on a laptop with grandparents

Video calls in the North are a way of life. Whether calling home to catch up with family or celebrating online with friends; we understand the importance of staying connected

Bring faraway friends and family closer with quality face time. Follow our top 7 tips to help your video call go smoothly:

1. Find a spot with a nice background. Make sure you have good lighting in front of your face, not behind. Position your camera at eye level.

2. Use your headphones for optimum sound quality. Try Bluetooth wireless headphones so you can move, demonstrate, dance, or grab a coffee at the same time.

3. Connect to your 5G wi-fi network if possible and shut down other background tabs, videos, and web pages on all your devices so your video call takes priority.

4. If you make a lot of video calls, you may want to increase your Internet plan to a higher speed. Check out our guide to find the right internet plan for you.
