Getting started with Crave
Crave is an On Demand video streaming service that you can subscribe to through Northwestel.
- Crave includes TV programming such as HBO classic series, the best sitcoms in history, today’s top shows, and exclusive Canadian original series.
- Crave + Movies + HBO is a premium package that includes HBO Canada, Hollywood movies, Crave on demand service, STARZ content, and more.
You can watch Crave content On Demand on your TV, through a web browser at crave.ca, and by using the Crave app on your mobile device.
Here’s what you need to get started with Crave.
- A Northwestel TV subscription.
- A Northwestel TV account. You’ll need this to log in if you want to access Crave through a web browser or the Crave app on your mobile device. If you don’t have a Northwestel TV account yet, register for one.
- A supported device (if you want to access Crave through a web browser or the Crave app).
Note To watch Crave content through a web browser or the Crave app, you’ll also need an internet connection.
You can watch Crave content on a variety of devices--up to five devices per account.

Crave has parental controls where you can set a PIN that must be entered to view content that's rated above a particular age category. The parental control settings apply across devices and platforms where Crave is available except on Apple TV and set-top boxes.
- Crave is only available within Canada. You can’t watch Crave when you’re outside Canada.
- To watch Crave without using your internet data, you must subscribe to Crave through Northwestel rather than subscribing directly through Crave. Learn more about data usage and Crave.
