NorthernHer is a documentary series showcasing bold Northern heroines who live off the land, run businesses and play influential roles in their communities. The first season was filmed in the Northwest Territories and shares the every-day lives of women living in NWT. Not About Me
Not about Me is a film about Morgan Wienberg, a well-meaning Northern teenager who volunteers at a Haitian orphanage in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. Throughout this story, she discovers a different side to volunteering. Produced by Yukoner Kelly Milner, this film challenges perceptions, showcases a uniquely Northern experience around the world, and inspires action. Learn more about this film here.
