How to Retrieve a Saved Username and Password in Your Browser
If your saved password isn’t autofilling on the new login page, you can manually look it up using the steps below for your browser.
- Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Select "Settings" > "Autofill and Passwords" > "Google Password Manager".
- Use the search bar to find the website you need.
- Click the eye icon next to the password (you may need to enter your computer password).
- Open Edge and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Go to "Settings" > "Profiles" > "Passwords".
- Search for the website you need.
- Click the eye icon to reveal the password (you may need to authenticate).
- Open Safari and go to the Apple menu > "System Settings".
- Click "Passwords" and enter your Mac’s password or use Touch ID.
- Use the search bar to find the website and click the entry to view details.
On iPhone/iPad:
- Open Settings > "Passwords".
- Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode to access saved passwords.
- Search for the website and tap to view the details.
- Open Firefox and click the menu button (three lines) in the top-right corner.
- Select "Passwords".
- Use the search bar to find the website.
- Click the eye icon next to the password to reveal it (authentication may be required).
