Getting started with Pulse TV

With Pulse TV, you can connect up to six TVs in your home, watch or record up to six shows at a time from any connected TV, manage your recordings on any connected TV or from your mobile device, and more.

Availability

Pulse TV is available in the following communities, where access and technology permits:

  • Carcross
  • Fort Nelson
  • Fort Smith
  • High Level
  • Whitehorse
  • Yellowknife

Equipment

We provide and install the equipment you need, which includes:

  • One media gateway for your first TV. The media gateway device includes a DVR for recording content and a modem with a built-in router for Northwestel internet service.
  • Up to two wireless media players and three wired media players, depending on how many TVs you have in your home.

The media gateway and each media player come with a remote control.

Channels and programming

If you’re switching from Digital TV to Pulse TV, you’ll have access to the same channels and theme packs. There’s no difference in the channel and programming availability between Digital TV and Pulse TV.
