Frequently asked questions

How do I know I qualify for the credit?
After you apply for the credit on the Northwestel website, if you qualify for the credit you will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days.

How long will it take to apply the credit?
Once the credit is approved, the credit should appear in two to three bill cycles on your Mobility bill.

Where will the credit appear on my bill?
The credit will appear on your Mobility bill under monthly charges.

What if I have multiple Northwestel or Bell Mobility accounts?
One credit is available for each eligible Northwestel and Bell Mobility account, regardless of how many cell phone lines or Internet plans are on the account.

If I disconnect my internet service from Northwestel, would I still qualify for the credit?
No. The credit only applies to active customers with eligible postpaid Bell Mobility and Northwestel Home Internet.

Will I still qualify for the credit if I switch from postpaid Bell Mobility to prepaid Bell Mobility?
No. You must have postpaid Bell Mobility services to receive the credit.

Can I still get the credit if I deactivate and reactivate my account?
If you re-activate eligible services, you must re-apply for the credit. If you are eligible, Bell Mobility may apply the credits for the remaining months of the promotion if we are still offering this promotion. If you have completed the promotion, you cannot receive it again. We may change the promotion and the eligibility requirements at any time.

Terms and conditions*

Available to Northwestel residential customers who have a home internet plan with an account in good standing, and who currently subscribe to a post-paid consumer personal Bell Mobility service (of a value greater than $60/mo) with an account in good standing. A Bell Mobility phone and account number must be provided to Northwestel for validation. Customers require a valid email address to sign up for the bundle program. The bundle program gives a $20 monthly credit on the customer’s Bell Mobility service. The credit will be applied to the first Bell Mobility billing cycle. The credit can take up to 3 billing cycles to process on the Bell Mobility account. The Northwestel and Bell Mobility bundle program is subject to change or can be discontinued without notice. A change in eligibility on either a Northwestel Internet account or service or Bell Mobility account or service will result in termination of the credit. There is no proration on discounts, only on charges. During the deactivation bill cycle of the credit, the credit will not be applied to the account.
