How to use Call Forwarding

Call Forwarding lets you forward incoming calls to another phone number.

With Variable Call Forwarding, your calls are forwarded to a number that you specify each time you turn on the feature.

With Fixed Call Forwarding, your calls are forwarded to a fixed local number.

Turn on Call Forwarding

  1. Pick up your phone, and then dial 72#.
  2. Listen for a dial tone.
  3. Dial the number to which you want to forward your calls.

To forward your calls to a long distance number, dial 1 before the number.

  4. Listen for two short dial tones to confirm that the feature is turned on, and then hang up.

If the call isn’t answered or you get a busy signal, hang up, and then repeat step 1 to 4 within two minutes to turn on the feature and forward your calls.
