Getting started with Go apps
With Go apps, you can watch live TV and On Demand content for select channels from anywhere you have an internet connection. Go apps are included with your Northwestel TV subscription.
Download the Go app you want to your iOS or Android mobile device, log in, and start streaming your favorite shows on the go.
Here’s what you need to use Go apps:
- A Northwestel TV subscription
- An iOS or Android mobile device
- A Northwestel TV account. You’ll need this to log in. If you don’t have a Northwestel TV account yet, register for one.
- Internet connection. You’ll need to connect to the internet to download and install Go apps and to watch content.
Here’s a list of available Go apps. You can use any Go app, as long as you subscribe to that channel through your Northwestel TV subscription.

- Go apps content is available only within Canada. You can’t use Go apps to watch shows when outside Canada.
- Using Go apps counts towards your data usage.
- Watching Go apps content from home when connected to your Northwestel home Wi-Fi network counts towards your internet usage.
- Watching Go apps content when away from home and connected to a mobile network uses your mobile data. Standard mobile data usage charges may apply. Check with your mobile provider if you have questions about your mobile data usage.
- You can’t download and save Go apps content to your mobile device. Go apps content is available only for streaming when you’re connected to the internet.
