Troubleshooting TV Plus App on your phone or tablet

This TV Plus App troubleshooting steps is for the following symptoms:

  • The App begins to load (shows the Northwestel TV Plus splash screen) but then turns black
  • After approx. one minute, the application crashes and an error message stating the application is not responding is visible

Additional troubleshooting that has been done, that has not been successful: 

  • STEP 1 - Power cycling the device (Restart your device)
  • STEP 2 - Confirming the device is on the latest software version
  • STEP 3 - Attempting to open the TV Plus App while on and off home Wi-Fi 

Step 1

Press and hold the application until the menu pops up and select App Info (the small " i ").

Depending on your device, you may need to press on the arrow pointing right to find App Info.

 

Step 2

Once on the App Info screen, select Storage.

Step 3

Once in the Storage screen, select Clear Data (at the bottom of the screen).

Step 4

This will reset the application, and you should be able to login again.
